Dr. Pavandeep Khaira believes that a positive experience, for both patients and staff, can only be achieved by carefully listening to each individual. Furthermore, his philosophy is centered on the idea of treating others as he would like to be treated himself. This attitude led him to create Red Sky Dental Spa, where he serves as a premier restorative and cosmetic dentist. Located in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Dr. Khaira’s practice has rapidly gained attention due to his commitment to excellence and dedication to his field.
He has published several articles for leading dental journals, one of which was requested by the Houses of Parliament for its annual publication. “Pav,” as our cosmetic dentist prefers to be called, is widely seen as a rising star in the dental field, and has extensive experience and education.
Dr. Khaira’s Dental Background
Dr. Pavandeep Khaira graduated from the University of London, and completed his BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) at the prestigious Guy’s and St. Thomas’ Hospital in London. He has continued his education since receiving his degree, attending numerous courses and seminars in the most advanced dental procedures currently being performed. Dr. Khaira is also a member of many professional bodies, and has been asked to teach classes in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, Botox wrinkle treatement, and dermal fillers. As a restorative and cosmetic dentist in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, Dr. Khaira has been able to use his extensive training to improve the lives of numerous patients.

Dr. Khaira and his wife enjoy eating in fine restaurants as well as watching movies together. “Pav” knows a number of good places to eat in London, and he is happy to make recommendations. His favourite films include The Shawshank Redemption and The Godfather, and, again, he is happy to make recommendations!

June 2008: Interdisciplinary Dentistry for Complex Cases with Frank Spear (USA) - Evaluated advanced treatment planning options for complex cases involving dental crowns, veneers, bridges, implants, orthodontics, and periodontics; developed skills and guidelines to predict the outcome of treatment with each case.
April 2008: Prosthodontic Study Group with Howard Chasolen – Improved cosmetic planning skills for prosthodontic cases with Chasolen, a well-known specialist with a focus on cosmetics; I was one of only two dentists from the U.K. to attend this course.
April 2008: Inman Aligner™ Certification – Gained necessary training and education to use Inman Aligner™ on patients with orthodontic treatment needs, including its use in complex cases. I am one of the first trained dentists in the U.K. certified to use this innovative treatment.
March 2008: State-of-the-Art Aesthetics with Frank Spear (USA) – Studied the step-by-step process of treatment planning for advanced aesthetic cases, and selecting the best option for excellent results; course focused on complex cases.
March 2008: Advanced Botox and Fillers for Facial Sculpting Course – Trained in the use of dermal fillers in advanced cosmetic procedures like cheek implants, jowl lifts, and nose reshaping; has helped me to expand our services to meet our patient’s facial cosmetic needs.
February 2008: NTI and Advanced Occlusal Theories – Reviewed common causes of dental work failure; identified techniques to avoid these problems and ensure that my patients’ results are long lasting, functional, and comfortable.
February 2008: Occlusion in Clinical Practice with Frank Spear (USA) – Learned how to execute large treatment plans with predictability and enhance long-term success of cosmetic dentistry; training has helped to greatly boost patient satisfaction with their dental work.
December 2007: Invisalign® certification – Earned certification to work with Invisalign® to gently and unobtrusively straighten teeth through the use of clear aligners; this certification has enabled me to add another option to the orthodontic treatments I offer at my practice.
October / November 2007: Hands-on Veneer Preparation / Placement course – Expanded knowledge of veneer treatment; enhanced clinical skills to prepare and apply veneers comfortably and with predictability; helped me to ensure that the veneers I place look and feel natural and beautiful.
September 2007: Advanced Adhesive Dentistry with John Kanca (USA) - Improved skills for restoration bonding (of veneers, crowns, and bridges) through high-level training with the pioneer of dental adhesives, Dr. John Kanca. My practice imports the highest quality adhesives to support our goal of providing quality care and treatment.
July 2007: CEREC® and advanced CEREC® restorations – Examined fundamentals of the CEREC® one visit restoration system, including its use in complex cases; reviewed CEREC® technology, treatment planning with the computer imaging system, and the restorations it creates.
June 2007: World Aesthetic Congress – Attended a prestigious seminar with some of the world’s top dentists and lecturers who covered a wide range of clinical topics, as well as developments in the dentistry field and quality patient care.
February 2007: Causes of Failure of Porcelain Laminate Veneers – Studied advanced cases of veneer failure, including when, how, and why veneers fail; learned methods to prevent these failures for my own patients.
January 2007: Minimally Invasive Dentistry - Discussed advanced theories and learned new skills to prevent and treat tooth decay and gum disease through the most minimally invasive procedures available.
October 2006: Clearstep certification – Received certification in Clearstep orthodontic treatment, which uses clear, removable aligners to conveniently straighten teeth.
September 2006: Advanced Bleaching Protocol – Trained in advanced tooth whitening procedures, which I have since modified to increase the effectiveness and predictability of the treatment. Patients see more dramatic results in less time.
September 2006: Hygiene Symposium – Analyzed advanced care and prevention of gum disease, a common problem; learned new techniques and technology to keep patients’ gums healthy.

September 2004 – 2005: Year-long Cosmetic Course – Studied all aspects of cosmetic dentistry during a continuing education course; strengthened treatment planning skills for veneer, crown, and bridge cases.
