Stabilising dentures with implants

March 22, 2013

Having all of your teeth removed can be upsetting.  I see it all the time, unfortunately sometimes it’s necessary due to the amount of disease present.

What many people don’t realise is that dentures have been around for hundreds of years (actually the oldest evidence of dentures is thousands of years old!).  They were the best replacement for your teeth at the time.

Today, we consider dentures a replacement for having no teeth at all, not a replacement for your teeth.  This is where dental implants come in.  Dental implants can be used in a variety of ways to either stabilise your dentures and prevent them rocking or to the point you can actually throw your dentures in the bin.

We have helped countless people who have been having denture problems go from a liquid diet to being able to bite into a crunchy apple and eat anything they want.

If you would like to know more about being able to get rid of your dentures and being able to eat anything you like, call us on 01302 325678 and arrange your free appointment with our treatment coordinator
