Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain Veneers for Our Leeds, Sheffield, and South Yorkshire Area Patients

If you’ve always thought your smile could use a bit of improvement, porcelain veneers may be the answer. Veneers can subtly transform the shape, position, and color of your teeth, letting you choose how you want your smile to look. They can also hide imperfections such as chipped, cracked, or misaligned teeth. Porcelain veneers, among our patients from Sheffield and Leeds, are one of the most popular cosmetic options we offer at our office in Doncaster, and we continue to achieve sparkling results.

Pre-Procedure Consultation

During your first visit to our office, our dentists and staff will work with you to find out exactly what your goals are, and they will educate you on the porcelain veneers process. Communication is an essential part of any of our procedures, and we strive to make it a priority. We pride ourselves on walking our patients through each step of the processes to create and place porcelain veneers, making sure to answer any questions and address all of your concerns. With porcelain veneers, we help our Sheffield and Leeds patients achieve the smile they’ve always wanted, and we can help you attain the beautiful smile of your dreams too!

Creation of Porcelain Veneers

At Red Sky Dental Spa, we take a mould of the patient’s teeth and bite on which to base the design of the veneer. Dr. Khaira carefully analyzes the dimensions of the surrounding teeth to create a design for the veneer that will blend in with the rest of the teeth; he also consults with the patient to ensure the restoration will meet his or her exact preferences. We then send the mould to a laboratory in our area where the veneer will be created based on the specifications that Dr. Khaira provides. After the veneer is crafted, the patient will return to our office to have the veneer placed.

Application of Porcelain Veneers

Before the finished porcelain veneers can be applied to the targeted teeth, the dentist must remove a thin layer of enamel from the front of the teeth. This makes space for the veneers, and helps bond the porcelain to the teeth by roughening the bonding surface. A thin layer of dental cement is then applied to the teeth, and the porcelain veneers are placed. The process usually takes only one visit to our office in Doncaster, and patients leave with a brand new smile.
