Expect to receive treatment which lasts on average for 12-18 months in more complex cases and simple cases for around 6-9 months.

Things to be aware of:
- Hot drinks – as they can warp the aligners.
- Food – it’s best to take the aligners off whilst eating.
- Wear them for 22 hours a day to see optimal results – only taking them off to eat/drink/clean your teeth.
- You only need to come into the practice now and again to receive the trays – which is every 3 months or so – making it ideal if you have a busy lifestyle.
- After the treatment is finished, you will need to retain the form and shape of your new teeth to prevent them from gradually going back to their original shape. This is true of all brace systems however and not just Invisalign.
