I often get asked why I decorate the way I do, why I practice the way I do, why I only buy the very best materials.
The answer is easy, I look after you the way I would want to be looked after myself. There are many people out there who will go to see the dentist because they know they have to. That got me thinking, there are certain things we have to do. What if I could do these things and actually enjoy doing it? Like visiting the dentist?!
Fresh tea & coffee, snacks, wine (within reason!), fresh baked bread to get rid of the smell. All designed to make your visit more comfortable.
The whole point is to be different and to make everything as comfortable as can be. To provide the highest quality dentistry I possibly can without compromise.
In order to provide the highest quality, I continually educate myself on courses both here and in the States. I really enjoy these courses and put what I learn into practice.
Its all about looking after you

Gum disease is a nasty disease. It dissolves bone, causes bad breath, can cause abscesses and result in long term tooth loss. And it can do it without giving you any pain!
Having done extensive training, I was not happy with the level of treatment that was considered acceptable. A long term study has shown that those with gum disease are between 45-95 times more likely to loose their teeth long term. The nature of the disease is also more complicated than what we previously thought.
Due to the high risk and aggressive nature of the disease, the quality of our treatment has been reviewed and increased significantly. The disease is cyclic in nature, so you will have “flare ups” from time to time. It is important that a high level of care is sustained otherwise the disease will continue to progress.
Many clients ask me to “cure them”, it is important that people are aware of the nature of the disease. It is UNCURABLE. All we can do is slow it down, and in the best case that means to all intents and purposes that the disease has stopped. Nothing we do will work if your home care is not excellent.
Thinking of it that way, we actually help YOU take control of the disease!
The philosophy being (you will probably notice this philosophy running through all of my treatment plans) is to provide the highest quality care, without compromise.

Having just completed several extensive smile makeovers, the change in confidence that I see is extremely satisfying. I have many clients ask for cosmetics but are looking to have it done cheap. Fortunately, they don’t end up coming to see me. The clients who come to see me appreciate that I always do my very best for them. It is very easy to do “cosmetic dentistry” cheap, but it looks awful and does not last long. My clients are pleasantly surprised at how affordable treatement can be with our financial options.
The absolute key for me is to take my time to do things well. Success comes without skipping steps, without compromising and with genuine care for my clients.
I’ve just returned from a training seminar in the US, and will be going again several times this year. The advanced level training had a secondary message which was repeated time and time again. This message was to never compromise on quality of work.
Always take time to see examples of work your dentist has done. Also remember that it is far better to have things done well and once, rather than poorly and several times. I promise all my clients I will look after them the way I would want to be looked after myself. My passion is boosting people’s confidence with the skills I have learnt.

I always deliver the very best in cosmetic dentistry. My fees are not the cheapest, but that allows me to use worlds class technicians to deliver great results.
A friend of mine was utilising new techniques in the area of wrinkle reduction. I decided to learn these techniques and they have massively improved the overall result we can now give. As well as full smile makeovers, we can now use products to reduce wrinkles. What is even more impressive is the use of brand new products used for cheek implants and nose reshaping!
Previously, the only way to correct a gummy smile was to undertake surgery. I have recently finished a case using a particular product which has stabilised the position of this young lady’s lip without extensive surgery. Her lip will remain stable for 3-4 months and the procedure took less than 10 minutes.
What is the point I’m trying to get across? Well, very simply, cosmetic dentistry is not an easy as many people would liek for it to be. Saying that, the results achievable with QUALITY work can be outstanding. Add into that facial aesthetics and we can achieve dramatic results.
I’m a great believer in delivering only the very best, and caring for my clients the way I would want to be cared for myself. I do a lot of corrective cosmetics and have promised myself I will never lower my standards.

Many of my clients ask me what I can do for them to straighten their teeth. The biggest concerns they have are the DREADED TRAIN TRACKS! After considering it myself, I decided I would be really unhappy to have train track braces placed myself. That is the reason we are now using Invisalign and the Inman aligner for braces.
The Invisalign system is superbly discreet and consists of clear, ultra thin braces which fit snuggly over your teeth. The braces gently move your teeth into the correct position, all without wires! It takes about the same amount of time that conventional braces take, which is obviously dependent on how crooked your teeth are to start with. The average treatment times are between 9-18 months. The cost varies with the complexity, but many of our clients are utilising our interest free options so that they can have the smile they want at a cost that is comfortable for them.
The Inman aligner is another level completely. This brace system is very rapid, allowing for braces to be completed within weeks for certain cases! I am currently undertaking Inman aligner therapy for a young lady and we expect to be finished in 6 months. The same tooth movements with traditional braces would have taken over 2 years!
